Virgin Hols - reference for Manage Booking?

Looking for some help please!

I have a Virgin Hols booking ref, just numbers, but to log in online it looks like a suffix is needed, e.g. S11.
I thought this corresponded to when you travel, but the options only go to S12 and we don't travel until next September.

Can anyone tell me what option to use?
 
Oh, just spotted this:

If your booking number has 7 digits, you won't be able to manage your booking online. Don't panic! Your booking is safe this is just whilst we're working on a fantastic new system.

The price on my confirmation email isn't the reduced price I got agreed - should I call back or will it be corrected on my postal invoice?
 
I Would want to make sure the price u have agreed as actually been set.
You could always email them to check-I normally email virgin with queries and normally get a quick response.
 
If you are on Facebook, Virgin Holidays are great at answering posts and messages on there, they've helped me enormously through that contact method.

If it was me I would contact Virgin right away! As far as I know the postal invoice is just a hard copy of the e-mail confirmation, at least mine always has been.
 
I don't like the idea of not being able to view bookings online anymore...
 
Good news, I called and have now received an updated (and correct) invoice.
Hopefully soon the online issues will get rectified.

I don't like the new system either. Apparently they are working on it and in the future, you will be able to view everything online again.

I contacted virgin about reserving your seats as you could always do this in the past, which i loved, but they aren't going to be doing it anymore :sad: Gutted, i'm one of those irritating people that doesn't sleep on a plane and has to go to the bathroom a few times, so i liked to book an outside seat. Oh well xx

Really?

The website still says you can do this. Did they say when this is stopping from? Presumably you'll still be able to choose your seats when you check in (online or otherwise)?
 
Anyone know if it's possible to log in with 7 digits yet?
