Hi!

Is anyone else having trouble getting into this tonight? Every time I enter my details it just says "oops - link appears broken" - which is annoying me immensely!!:rotfl2:

It's been known to happen when the website is inundated with hits during special offer periods like 10% off online bookings and thing like that. Ours is very temperamental at the moment too often giving an error message of "no content on this page" or "lost connection with the server". So all I can say is keep trying and:hug:   hope you get in soon.

hi its been like that since yesterday. Someone on another forum thinks virgin are updating there system. I wish they would hurry up, i like to check my booking at least once a day:lmao:

I've just been on there and it seems to be working alright now :thumbsup2

Mine still won't work! What does this company have against me?!!? Its just problem after problem with them!

Has not worked for me either. But there is a fix.
Down at the bottom of the page is the check the status of your tickets. This link takes you to a different sign on screen.
Worked for me to access our booking :thumbsup2

I can manage my booking and edit all the details except seat numbers. They do not show up. We are going in August.

That works! Thanks!:thumbsup2

Does anyone else think Virgin are getting a touch complacent with their customer service? I still cannot get on to book my seats-today is our 336th day to go (and counting:goodvibes ) but it says it cannot find my booking. From another posting earlier , quite a few people have told me that you can only book your seats 2 weeks out now!:scared1: I have emailed both VH and VA to ask what the cotton-pickin' is up with the website but no reply! I really do think their customer service is getting quite bad nowadays. Sorry Sir Dick!

Is that 336 days from your flight going there or coming home? If going then need to wait until 336 days before return flight for both to show, in the meantime as no details are loaded on the system that is why the booking cannot be found.

Claire ;)

No its 336 days until we come home (Boo!) DBf found me logging on at 8.20 this morning in my jammies! What can I say-I want decent seats together! (Last time , despite having booked 2 seats together, they had separated us coming back. I am a very VERY nervous flyer!!!:scared: )

I am guessing the seat maps will be up in the next day or two. To lessen the chances of being split for the return journey I would do on-line check in and make sure just before you go that your pre-assigned seats are still showing. What is your return date?

Claire ;)

I personally think Virgin Customer service is now non-existant. It has been getting steadily worse the last few years and now is appalling. Every time you email you get an automated response saying they are receiving a lot of emails currently so won't be able to answer for a couple of weeks - the same message has been coming up for at least two years - learn a lesson and get some extra staff then to answer the messages! I have sent 4 emails going back over the last two months that I still haven't received reply's to which is pretty appalling. The call centre staff in India simply do not understand English - I spent 30 minutes TWICE to two different ones last month - all I wanted to do was pay to upgrade my hotel - neither of them could understand that (I may be from Norfolk but my accent isn't that bad!:rotfl: ) so I gave up, so they lost extra money there. I was promised a call back on Monday regarding a refund I am owed - still waiting for the call 4 days later. The answer machine message on the contact number on invoices says they work until 10pm - then cuts you off at 8pm as the office is closed (I have emailed about that and been told it has been sorted, but it hasn't). I wrote a letter last year asking for the reason my flight was delayed for 4 hours as there was no one able to answer it on the flight - I got a short, rude letter back telling me they don't apologise for delays as I should expect them these days, and did not bother to answer my actual question.

Frankly my list goes on and on! Once I get my trip out of the way this year we have resolved not to book with them again - the service we receive is simply not worth the 10% we save for being part of the FV programme. It really upsets me to see them decline so much, but they are obviously relying on loyalty over service to retain customers - well they have pushed me too far!! I shall be trying BA as recommended by my friend, or other airlines recommended on this site in future.

I feel better to have had a good rant!:rotfl:
