Hey everyone,

I'm booked with Virgin Hols - flying Gatwick/Orlando with VA and booked in August 2009 so get the 23kg x2 luggage allowance per person. Am connecting in from Belfast with FlyBE - booked connections with VH too so it's all on the same flight reference.

Does anyone know if the same VA luggage allowance applies to the connection flights as it's all booked through Virgin on the one booking?

Ta in advance.

Tim

VA still allowed the greater allowance on connections last year, but as I mentioned on another thread on here, so many changes lately that you really want to check that and get confirmation from VH or VA about this. Since it is all under one reference I would think it is fine, but you don't want to take anything for granted - could be a costly mistake.

Flew with Flybe/Virgin recently and we had no difficulty with Flybe honouring Virgin's baggage allowance :)
We went out with 3 cases for 5 people and came back with 6 pieces of luggage on the way back.

Welcome back! :goodvibes I'm going to miss the Cyrano Adventure thread :sad1:

Thanks good to know.

Of course on way back is when we're likely to have extra piece - so my reasoning is there's no problem checking in more than 1 bag per person at MCO with Virgin and as we check it all the way back to Belfast, shouldn't be an issue at Gatwick as we shouldn't need to see our luggage.

If it's checked straight through you will certainly not have a problem. :)
