virgin holiday booking -plane seats quest

How do I go about booking seats on the plane with a virgin holiday booking. The system seems to have changed since we last booked a package (fly drive) as we usually just book the flights these days.

Hi, same as before through VA manage my booking except you can only do it 90 days before you fly now

that explains it - I have over 9 months to go

We will have no chance of getting seats together if flight only can book them out as there are 9 of us. 3 of the group have medical needs which mean they must have another person seated next to them (one wheelchair, one on sticks and the other is diabetic)- May be I will try the special assistance number to see if they can at least ensure that we have 3 groups of seats together.

Nobody can book seat more than 90 days in advance, regardless of how the the flights were booked
Call the special assistance number anyway as they are very helpful

Don't worry, if you book seats as soon as it opens at 11:00am(?) 90 days out, you'll have no trouble booking 9 seats together

I would call special assistance but even then they cant book seats till 90 days but the medical things like wheelchairs they can be noted on the booking

We just booked our seats. I didn't know if this was common knowledge but I actually did it at 91 calendar days. I logged in it still said 91 days 0 hours 30 minutes. I logged in an hour later 90 days 23 hours 30 minutes. Booked my seats (outbound only) and i checked a few times as I was so shocked. X

We have about 85 days till we fly but I don't gave a booking number for VA. I've looked on the invoice from Thomas Cook but there is no VA booking number. Does anyone know where I can find it?

when we booked with disney and flew with virgin I just rang virgin. Just explain you have booked through a travel agent they will ask you forthe lead passengers name the dates you are flying and destination. Then they find your booking and will be able to give you the reference number you need.

You can also manually link through the VA website as long as you have your name and flight details (or you could a couple of years back!)

I've just been told by Thomas cook travel agent that because we booked with Thomas cook signature we can't book our seats until 30 days out. We are flying with Virgin. Is this correct or can we still book seats at 90 days? Thanks

If i recall correctly, you are making a seat request, not a reservation. Nothing is concrete until you get on the plane...
