Virgin help!!

I have just tried to make a payment on the virgin holidays website. I've put in all my card details and double checked them but it keeps coming up with an error.

Has anybody else had this problem.

I tried to call them 5 minutes ago and got told to ring back during open hours which are Sunday 10am to 4pm!!!!!!

Why is nothing ever easy?!?!

I had this before, ensure EVERY last detail is correct, use the MIDDLE line card number not the bottom line, Use, the issue number if switch, and I found instead of putting in the full name as per the card, use your intials only.

If you have a joint account try the other persons card.

I have tried everything and still no luck. Will have to ring them tomorrow though I can't understand why I can't speak to them now.

Check with your card issuer first. Sometimes they stop large payments made over the internet for security reasons. If this is the case, once you explain you want to make the payment, it should go through ok.

This has happened to me quite a few times with my CC provider - I now give them a ring if I know I am going to be making large payments or multiple payments close together.

I spoke with someone at Virgin this morning because their website shows that our tickets still haven't been sent. I was told that they are having problems with the website at the moment, so this could be affecting your ability to pay.
