Seen on another website that VA had changed their flight times. Our flight times from Glasgow in July have been changed, anyone else booked to fly from GLA with VA this summer had better check times, we are now 4 vhours earlier in leaving GLA and 4 hours coming back. Pleased with the outward flight but had planned on spending all day at DisneyQuest before we went to MCO.

Yes, check your seats. Ours were changed as well, although I preferred the ones they changed them to so it worked out well. At least they had the decency to advise you of the change in advance!

I also don't know if they have GLA on their online system yet, but I found out a few months before we flew that you couldn't do OLCI on the GLA route. I did do my API online in advance and when we got to the check in desk, discovered that the system wasn't 'linked' and they had to enter the details manually at check in.

When doing your API what did you click for the first question, Flydrive or staying in USA

We are also flying with Virgin from GLA but in August and our flight times have also been changed. Virgin seem to have carried over our seat choices to the new flight times but then there seems to be plenty availability in Premium Economy on this flight. I would be interested to find out if others have had the same experience as 2tiggies re the OLCI would be good to know in advance.

Todds, it looks like it is up and running again. At least, the VA website is not showing a note that it is currently not available, as it was when we flew. At the time we travelled last October VA was in the process of rolling out a new check in system and was using (the name of the co. slips my mind as I type this, but I think it was ServisAir) to do handle this on their behalf.

If the OLCI is up and running then API should go through online without incident. They are apparently linked to the same system.
