Well,
It seems that Virgin Upper Class passengers and Gold Card holders who fly out of Gatwick (I won't go into the even poorer way they are treated at Manchester and Glasgow!!!) should be ready for even more "enhancements" to the service they get as the premium passengers.
Runours have it that when the Gatwick Clubhouse reopens after its facelift in December, one of the more popular aspects of the place will not return, namly the beauty salon/hair salon.
I wonder if the cinema which has been out of action for three years will also go?
So,
Virgin have alreday removed the revivals room from gatwick,
reduced the luggage allowance down to 3 X 23KG
now will remove the hair salon
to add to:
poor IFE on Gatwick planes
Poor food
Reduced options
reduced wine/spirits list
Its making BA Club World look better all the time
I know that Economy and PE have also suffered cutbacks, but as both BA and Virgin have said, its the premium cabin which makes the money and these reductions in service make Virgin no better than the competition.
Just be aware for your once in a lifetime UC/CW trip or your next buisness cabin trip.
