Virgin flight sale

Hi All,
Does anybody know why the Virgin flight sale is only to May 08 this year?
Last Jan I baught my flights for Dec 07 in Jan Sale.Was hoping to do the same again this year for october,but only up to ma now.

Any knowledge?Cheers,
