Virgin Flight details

My wife and I are visiting Disney World in May and booked our holiday direct through Disney, including Virgin flights from Manchester.

I have not received any information through the post or via email regarding the flight check-in procedure, Magic Express luggage tags etc?

Can anyone let me know the procedure for the Virgin flights, what documentation I need, when it is likely to arrive and will it come via post or email?

You wont get magical express luggage tags. Thats only for US citizens now. I do not know about the flights but the tickets etc normally come through approx 3-4 weeks before. Have u booked seats? They normally issue e-tickets for virgin flights but may be different if you booked as a package with WDW.

We have not booked seats. I have the flight numbers but that as all at the moment.

If you call Disney they should be able to give you your flight locator number which will allow you to log in and book seats and complete your API. Seat booking with Virgin is 60 days in advance of your flight.

Everything will be sent out a couple of weeks before travel but like crabbie said you will not get ME luggage tags. I would suggest collecting your own luggage and taking it with you on the bus. Luggage delivered by ME can take up to 4 ours from resort check in which can mean it arriving very late.

Called Disney who gave me the Virgin reference.

Good thing I did as the majority of the seats on the plane had already been booked.

Disney do send things out quite close to your trip so don't panic yet! Call Disney and ask for a reference. You may even be able to manually retrieve your booking through the VA website, but I'm not sure if it's possible when booked through WDW.

We've booked all 3 of our US flights direct with VA over the last 12 months and had e tickets with each which still freaks me out - real tickets are more reassuring somehow lol!!
