Virgin flight cancelled to manchester

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me.

Flipping through the arrivals on teletext last night and noticed that the manchester flight from orlando was cancelled last night - I also noticed that is was late coming in on the sunday morning too. I am a bit concerned we are flying on that flight on Wednesday and am worried that there is something wrong with the plane and it might be cancelled again.

I saw that this morning too. I also noticed that it left Manchester very late Sunday - about 5.30pm instead of 10.35am. Have to say I would be pretty annoyed at such a long delay.

As the Manchester flights only started on 1st May I did wonder how many passengers they had to bring back on the return journey - most people go for two weeks so wouldn't be due back for a few days yet.

Perhaps someone can shed some light on it.

If I were travelling on Wednesday I think I would give Virgin a ring just to check but I should think things will return to normal from tomorrow morning. There are no flights out on a Monday so it's given them a day to sort things out.
