Virgin flight cancellations for September

Oooh I saw the thread title then and panicked, but we're on the 075 and 076 anyway.

Hope it does mean it's a quiter time

I take it you mean you are not flying out on the Sunday?

No, the Saturday - I'm safe!

Thats good. the only thing is though, its going to be a more full flight than it would have been as the Sunday people (probably very unhappy as well) will be filling the plane.
If you have your seats assigned, keep an eye, if not do on line checkin as it will be busier than it was originally meant to be

We're booked to fly from LGW on Thursday 13th Sept 2007 on VS027, which according to the announcement is not one of the affected days. However I have just logged in the VA website and I am unable to access the 'Manage Your Flights' details for this flight, only the return one. So I suspect that they may also be cancelling VS027 on Thursdays as well.

I am not able to access VS015 in case I have been moved to that so I can't even re-book our seats

It would have been nice for them to let me know.

Hi Stephen,

I think you'll find that you have been caught by the fact that the flight time of VS027 is changing from 11:15 to 10:45. Apparently the flight disappears from 'Manage Your Flights' until you telephone Virgin and confirm that the new flight time is OK for you.

It has disappeared from my 'Manage Your Flights' as well and I go out on 11th April. I've got nerves of steel though so I'm just waiting to see what happens when I get my tickets.

That's a good point.
Well I've prebooked the seat numbers and filled in the API already, but I'll keep an eye on it and check they don't release my seat numbers or summink....
