Just got of the phone and have booked for our first on site stay at disney, We go June 28th 07 for 15 nights at port Orleans Riverside with virgin. The girl was very helpful and said we could phone straight away to book seats on plane to make sure we are all together - So any ideas of which seats are best to ask for ( 2 Adults , 3 kids) maybe emergeny exit seats with bit more leg room?? any advice much appreciated

Look up seatguru and there is another site someone else may remember (I can't off the top of my head or do a google search!). I think I'm correct in saying children cannot sit in emergency exit rows.

Yes emergency exit seats are for 16 year olds and over, who are 100% physically fit and are issued on day of departure at the airport. I would go for 3 by the window and then 2 across the aisle in the middle set.

Claire ;)

What about the last row of 3 by the window and the row of 2 behind (rows 60 and 61?) You get a bit of extra space between the pair of seats and the window and wouldn't have to worry about anyone having to sit by a stranger.

Thanks for the replys - just been onto virgin site to book them, not much left but the ones Libby suggested are available and we are thinking they are the ones to go for - just one worry is the noise we sat at the back on a short haul flight to spain and the engine noise was horrendous, as anyone sat near the back on a virgin plane and if so was noise a problem? many thanks again

These are the exact seats we had last time and the downside of the slightly noisier flight was far outweighed by the extra room. I really recommend these seats :thumbsup2

Thanks Miffy - have just tried to book them but wont let me on website for some reason, so will get on the phone first thing in the morning and try to get them booked. Once again thanks all for your input.

Ive gone for 3 in a row near the toilet for our trip in Feb - thats all I care about!!I must of gone twenty times with my two on our flight last year!!!!Never again,

Lynn :cheer2:

We are sitting in those seats libby stated going and coming back.We sat at the back last time and didn't think it was any noisier than sitting on the wing.So my fellow Kingswinford disneyhun When I get back in 12 days I will give you the run down.
