Hi,

Back in 2008 I remember going to DTD near to cirque du soliell for 8am.

We have PE flights booked with virgin this year- is the checkin at DTD still available?

Anyone used it recently?

What time does it open?

What time do you recommend going for and how much does it cost? In 2008 it was $10 each - think it may have gone up since then;)

Thank you so much for the help

Still $10pp on their website,
I doubt we will try it again. As I have said many times everytime we have been(early or late) its been over 1 hour line each time but I guess its because we only try at the end of every school holiday, their busiest days of the year. Others have no problems with the service. Offpeak might be easier.
We find it far easier doing online check in then bag drop at the airport but we don't mind leaving the bags in the car on the last day.

Have had good experiences of the DTD virgin checking, but we tend to travel off peak. Only problem we have ever had was having to unpack and repack an overweight suitcase on the side of the road! O

Just noticed your flights are PE, your line should be much shorter and move quickly!

There is usually no line for PE as you get priority most we have waited is 5 mins for the family in front to have all their bags weighed.

Still costs $10 per person.

We usually check in around 9.30.

don`t forget :cool1: This service is complimentary to Upper Class passengers, Flying Club Gold cardholders, Virgin Holidays passengers and infants.

We used it earlier this month. It opens around 8.15am. PE and Upper passengers have priority check-in. Cost is still $10 per person for non Virgin Holiday customers.
