Well, it appears to have worked! 
I've just completed the check-in for our flight tomorrow, and it was pretty straightforward, although a bit more time-consuming than I had aniticipated. That was partly down to having to re-enter some of the API details I'd already submitted
, but also because the links from one page to the next seemed very sloooow.
Anyway, fingers crossed, the procedure will continue to work when we get to Gatwick and the bag drop!
