Has anyone recently ordered a child's meal on a virgin flight to Orlando? Just wondering what type of food my children may get.

Thanks

The main meal will be pasta bolagnaise outbound and chicken in breadcrumbs with mac'n'cheese pasta shells & broccoli inbound. Outbound the other items served change from time to time. Inbound there will be carrot sticks & cucumber sticks with a dip for starters and yogurt for dessert.

The meals are unchanged in 4 years so I don't expect them to change anytime soon ;)

I've tried some of DDs each trip and its usually quite nice, certainly much tastier than the adults meal :)

Slight off topic but is there any reason why you can no londer select a child's meal from the drop down.

We're travelling with friends in October who asked me why it wasn't showing to select. I then went to check mine and I noticed the children's meals had disappaeared from my flights which I am sure I had previously booked weeks ago? :confused3

I just logged on to my flight for September and mine are still showing. They show as 'previously selected' and if I click on them I have the option to them select child meals or baby meal.

I haven't looked at my booking for april yet though. Is your flight soon?

We fly in October - it's seem odd we can't book childrens meals?

We have the same problem for our August flights in 2 weeks! We may call VA to be sure.

I wish i could book a kids meal for myself, i can't stand the adult ones and usually have to bring a sandwich with me so i don't go hungry. Another thing i don't understand is why the sandwiches they pass around have to be cheese and onion?? I can deal with cheese but not huge chunks of overpowering onion ;)

You could select a Vegan option. DH does this as he HATES cheese and if you have a vege option you always get cheese. Mind you the vegan option on VA is pretty awful!!:) We also decided to select the Asian vegetarian last time and that was ok for the main but the sandwiches were the cheese and onion ones again!
We also have decided its so much nicer if you take your own food from airside:thumbsup2
