Virgin cabin baggage

I know that the checked bags allowance is changing but looking at the cabin baggage allowance it doesn't seem to say all the extras like, handbags, coats, camera bags that it used to say.
Also the weight is now 6kg - did it used to be more or am I imagining it?

always been 6kg and you can take a small handbag that is relevant for your type of dress as well as the hand baggage
