Been trying to 'request' our seats in the VA website but Virgin Holidays won't realease our names to Virgin Atlantic until 11 months before our return flight. Not too worried - but they've told me that will be May 2006, I'll be home by then !!

I'm impatient!!

Hi all,
we are a family of five,2 adults and three kids.I have pre-booked the last row of three seats and the first row of two behind them.(rear of plane)
At first the web site would not allow me to do this for our party of five,i then rang up and a nice lady from virgin put them in for me.
I keep checking on the web site and they are still showing as mine whilst all other seats around us at the rear have now gone(i was the first one to pre book in the 336 day slot)I'm just keeping every thing crossed.
Familys of five seem to cause all sorts of problems with seats,hotel rooms,rides etc.

Just got back today flying with Virgin - cos we have an infant we had rows 21 & 22 (7 of us in total) the 2 next to the window - just behind PE so nice and quite...infact we had so many empty seats we could all spread out...I also went and had a look at the upper class area and the steward showed me how the seats worked and I had a play - just fab, so when I win the lottery that is the way I plan to travel....also sat in the PE seats (as it was empty) well just to try them out and not bad, but after you try upper class I think that is the way to go!!!

Wow Nattyk, I don't think thats standard virgin practice, lucky you . I bet its gorgeous up there.
