Just had my email from Flying Club the VA Sale is now on until the 28th Jan.

Prices for me are currently down by around £200 on what it had initially been. Going to keep playing around with dates etc now.

:cool1::cheer2:

Just had a look at my dates and the costs have come down too.
Do you think £935 is a good cost for Premium Economy for September?

and yet I've just had a look for my August books and they are only £20 different to earlier in the week.

We paid £1,100 for premium for September. I've seen non sale prices for £947 though about a month ago. Personally I just see a price I can afford and book it and then not worry if it comes down in price, so id say if it's within budget then book it :)

Same here.

Like others have said if it's within budget then go for it. I have booked premium for under £600 although that was 2011 flights booking in the 2010 sale. An I think I used miles plus money.

It's paid off for us :) We got 31 Oct outbound in PE - 14 Nov return in Upper from Gatwick for £1100 each. :hyper: Really happy with this price as Upper was only £100 more than PE for our return a nice 50th birthday present to myself methinks. :cloud9:

Even with the sale - prices are nearly double what we paid only 2/3 years ago - can't see us ever flying Virgin again, especially as we had awful service on our last trip with them.

my prices are good but then they always are for November. Miles + money only saved us about £20 so not bothering with that. We are not loyal with VA anymore but def prefer to go direct then indirect.:)

Yes we usually go in Nov but couldn't get anything under £500 the last 2 years - most we paid before was under £400.

Last year we got a last minute flight with Thomson on the new Dreamliner for £270!

The "sale" prices for our PE flights from MAN (out 30/07 returning 15/08) are now only (!!) £30 more than we paid a few months ago. When we booked, VA were charging £1,800 each - we paid £1,230 booking through Delta for the same direct flights.

Checked the VA website a few days ago, and Economy on the sale dates were only around £190pp less than PE :crazy2:

Waited to book until this past weekend glad I did, the price had come down by £200 total on our dates for next year and Quidco had the special deal on for 10% bonus cashback for premium members.

Flights now booked 29th Sep on the 11am from Manchester returning 18th Oct on the last Manchester flight from MCO.

Im not booking till september time for 30/11/14. Were between 420-480 m+m in oct 2013 for our dates. Suppose its not a peak time.
