If I book Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy on a Boeing 747-400 will I get seats in the upper deck or at the front of the main deck ?

If I book Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy on a Boeing 747-400 will I get seats in the upper deck or at the front of the main deck ?

According to the Virgin Atlantic website (http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/jp/allaboutus/ourfleet/index.jsp?type=8), there are different configurations, some with Premium Economy on the upper deck and some with Premium Economy on the main deck.

VA offers 4 configurations of their 747-400, the way to tell which version you are booking on is to look at the seat configuration at the time of booking (their website does make this pretty easy to do).

Of the four configurations, 2 offer only premium economy on the second level, one that offers a combination of both upper and premium (being phased out for all premium economy) and one offers upper class on the second level.
