Virgin Atlantic - is it worth upgrading?

I guess it's all about what people consider 'value for money'. We're a family of four so I'd maybe think about paying £400 for all of us to go PE (the price an earlier poster said he got it for).

But £395 p.p. would probably get us some cheap flights to go back in the autumn a couple of years back we managed to get some half-term Miami flights for £330!

For me it's not worth the extra money. Even at £80 extra per person it's still £240 for the 3 of us. If its each way then I'd say no because the only value is really see in it would be the extra baggage. I don't eat plane food and neither does my daughter, we both hate it so we take packed lunches! The extra seat width and leg room would be nice but I wouldn't pay much extra for it........until I win the lottery that it and then it's upper class 4 times a year for us!!
