Virgin American sale?

Is there any historically good time to get good prices from VA? We'll be flying in Sept & have started checking airfares but they're still higher than I'd like to spend. Any input would be appreciated.

As much as I absolutely adore flying VA, they are almost always more than I like to spend. Sigh.
