I have not taken the later flight before with Virgin and was hoping someone could help me out.

Can somebody tell me what meals you get ie as its the later flight will we get a lunch or will it be dinner.

Thanks

I think it might be dinner, but not sure. There was someone who could have helped but sadly they don't post any more on here.

Aren't lunch and dinner the same things (in regards to airline meals)?

You will get one main hot meal (served shortly after take-off) and one snack meal (i.e. "afternoon tea") served about an hour and ahalf before landing.

I agree that you always get one hot then a snack later (I've had snacks like hot stuffed pittas or toasties). I don't think that has changed in respect of what time I've flown

Like the others have said you will get your main shortly after take off. When we went on the VS15 last year we had a drinks service, then main meal. Later in the flight we had an ice cream type thing and the about an hour before landing a snack.

Yeah, that sounds right. We have always gone on the later flight and we always get a hot meal and then afternoon tea. Think they may have squeezed an extra round of tea/coffee in last year. Only trouble last year was I starved both on the way there and on the way back - I'm going prepared this year ;)

Yeah, I work for Virgin and everyone is about right! You get a drink after take-off then your hot meal. Think at the mo your choice is meatballs and pasta, vegie cottage pie and something else but cant remember at the minute. then you get an ice cream about half way through the flight then about 1 hour 30 before landing you get a sandwich choice with bagged fruit. Hope this helps!!!:)

Thank you babystar. I think with those choices I'll take some sarnies on board, I am not a fan of airline food anywa, and even at home doen't eat meat balls or cottage pie.
