I've never done it. Here's the info from the WDW website:

Duration: 6 hours minimum
Cost: $125.00 ◊ per hour. Special discount may apply for Disney Resort Guests, during non-holiday periods.
Theme park admission is required.

Cancellation Policy: If your plans change, please be sure to cancel your VIP Tour 24 hours in advance. VIP Tours cancelled with less than 24 hours advance notice are subject to a fee equal to 2 hours at the booked rate per VIP Tour Guide.
