Had the VIP guide a few years ago for a day during Easter Week. It was the best birthday gift I ever had.
Pete picked us up at our resort and drove us to a back entrance at the Studios. On the ride he asked what our desires were. The kids wanted to ride ToT as many times as they could.
We went over to TSMM. We were able to ride all rides through the FP line.
We then came back and did ToT 2 times in the FP line then again and that time he took us up through the elevator right to where they load the ride.
We then went to Rock n Roller Coaster.
On our way over to Star Tours he gave us all kinds of trivia about the park and the scenery. He then talked about how to get the most points on TSMM with the kids. Another few rides on ToT before lunch.
We had CS for lunch as we were having TS for dinner that night. He sat with the kids (ages 10-18) and they laughed and had a great time.
During lunch he asked if we wanted to see a show. The kids wanted indy. He made a call and had one of the front rows for us at the next show. Another ride on TSMM after the Indy show to see if our scores went up at all with all his pointers.
Being there during Easter week for only a few days, Epcot was the only park we were not going to be able to RD. So after a few more runs on ToT Pete drove us over to Epcot. We came in behind Test Track and rode Test Track and Soarin.
Our time was almost done by this point and we needed to get ready for dinner. Much of the day was spent talking about secrets on rides and how to get the most points in Buzz and TSMM. So before taking us back to our resort he drove us into a side entrance of the MK and took us for two rides on Buzz.
The nice thing about the VIP guide is they really let you set the tone. We were a group of 9 with 5 kids. They wanted to do a lot of rides during a very crowded time, they did.
I mentioned my obsession with all things Disney and he made sure to point out as many little facts and hidden things trying to find something I didn't already read on here or in a book, (he did get me a few times!!!).
As it was a surprise from my DH for my birthday, they didn't know what park I had planned for the day. My DH thought it was going to be all day at MK. So when we got in the van the guide had made PS for us at Liberty Tree for lunch. He called and cancelled when he heard we wanted the Studios that day.
It is not something I could imagine doing on a regular basis but it was a WONDERFUL treat and splurge!!
