VIP Tour Questions

We have a private VIP tour booked for the first time for spring break. We will have a group of 10, including 5 children, ages 6,7,7,7, and 11. Three of them have special needs, and can't handle crowds well. (We will almost certainly have multiple kids on DAS cards.) We usually have to do very, very short days in the park, no more than 4 or 5 hours including a quiet sit down meal. We are used to this, but we've decided to see if having the private guide lets us do more.

We'll have a guide for a day. We also have four other days where we can do parks or attractions we don't get to on our VIP day. We don't need to hit thrill rides any more intense than Splash Mountain and Mine Train. The 6 year old is the only daredevil, and she is too little for many of the things she would like to do. She is also the only girl, and the only one who cares about princesses. But she LOVES princesses. The boys will humor her a bit, but can only be pushed so far.

Does anyone know if it is easy to send the kids who get overstimulated and need a break (with one accompanying adult) back to the resort with the driver? Or do we all need to stay together?

Are we better off trying to do a little at all the parks, or focusing? We were thinking about splitting the time between Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Can they currently get your whole group of kids into Jedi Training without having to rush there first thing in the morning?

Does anyone have any suggestions about things we should definitely do, or things we should definitely wait to do on our own? We're super excited about this, but not sure how to make the most of our time.

They can book you for the Jedi training show you want ahead of time. Positive on that because my daughter stood next to a kid on a VIP tour who had that done for them.

The tour guide is your driver, so if you're okay with losing him/her for the time to takes to get to the resort and back, he/she can certainly take people back to the resort. On one VIP day, our tour guide took my grandmother and mom back to BLT while we ate lunch at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. He joined us as soon as he got back. On another day, I was the one being carted back to BLT by our tour guide. We were in MK when I suddenly started to feel not so great and soon thereafter was throwing up in every garbage can and bathroom that I encountered. Since BLT is so close to MK, and we were parked behind Space Mountain in TL, it took him only 15 minutes or so to get me back to the resort and then back to MK.
