VIP tour guide

So I am looking into the VIP tours - where you "rent" a tour guide for $95 an hour, min 5 hours for the day.

Has anyone done this, do they find it worthwile?

All the assistant could tell me on the phone, was they take out the leg work like get fast passes for you etc. Well i cannot see paying almost $600 just so I do not have to walk to get a fast pass lol

Any advice . . .

I have a friend who is a CM who does VIP tours. Most of her tours are celebrities or dignitaries and their families. If a celebrity is recognizable they will get "backdoored" on the rides but just paying to hire a VIP tour guide does NOT get you any type of automatic front of the line privilege.

Just curious why you think you would need a tour guide. You can get some GREAT info from these boards on how to plan your days at the theme parks for FREE. Save your money for a character meal or souvenirs for the kids.

The tour guides are $125 and hour, minimum of 5 hours and do not get you backdoored into rides at Disney.

I did not expect to get back doored or anyhting, I am just trying to find something really cool for this trip . . . I am not thining of these VIP tours any more I just dont think it is worth it just for the 2 of us, when we can do most of it ourselves . . .
