VIP Tour booking dining reservations

When I booked the VIP Tour they mentioned being able to book my dining reservations for the week I'm there. How will this work since I didn't give them a credit card and I think you have to enter one when you book a dining reservation. I don't think the days for my trip open for another month. I want to make sure I get everything

when you booked your VIP tour, Disney should have already asked you for a credit card to hold your VIP tour place/date. once you have CC on file, talk to your VIP tour planner about which dinning you like and they will book for you.

They didn't take my credit card info. I had asked if I could pay with a Disney Gift Card so that might be why?
