My friend asked me how to get VIP seating to Aladdin and other shows. I forget how you get them other than booking a vacation package through Disney or Costco...what other ways are there?

Also, how much longer will Aladdin be there? I know I saw it somewhere but I can't remember, is it nearing soon?

TIA

I have found the seating on ebay. Unfortunately, it won't do you any good any time soon, unless you are going in the next few days. The closure dates I found listed are September 2 to mid-December.

We have done the VIP seating but next time my daughter requested sitting further back so we could see the carpet fly overhead without breaking our necks. So sometimes sitting further back isn't such a bad deal. I don't think you can really get a bad seat anywhere in the theater.

I thought Aladdin was being replaced? IS it just going down for a while?

I read that they are auditioning new actors for the show to continue in December and possibly into spring, but yes, they are supposed to be replacing it within a year.

You get the preferred seating tickets by booking a package through Disney, Costco, or AAA. The only preferred seating that has any advantage at all is Aladdin; the rest are not at all necessary. if you do the Aladdin seating, you get in first with about 200 other people; you can sit 7th row center if you want, but as a PP said, the better seats are really in the front row of the second section on the floor (just behind the railing on the main left-to-right aisle), or the first row of the balcony. You'll have a much better view of the special effects.

We got VIP seating through our VIP tour a few weeks ago. We were let in 1st before any package seating (we went through a seperate entrance) got our pic of seats. We choose 1st row balcony as we knew that was the best option.

I too had heard they have just auditioned for a new cast so the show will be there for a little while yet.
