hi I have a question. Have anyone of you here done package Tony's restaurant / VIP seating for fantasy parade ? . I have a reservation for 12/7 (wed) but now I'm questioning if it's worth it. I will have 2and 5 year old with me so I wanted to make sure they will get to see parade without hoarding the space hour before. Do you guys think it will be very hard to get good viewing spot in the Main Street in case I decide to cancel the VIP package ?

Depends on what you consider a good viewing spot but no, I don't think it's worth it. $80 lunch (plus tax and tip) for one adult and two children is obnoxious for that location.

You can find good spots for the parade and not have to wait more than 15 minutes or so if you venture back to frontierland. So, if you consider a good viewing spot near the flagpole or in the hub that may be one thing to consider. If you consider a good viewing spot somewhere that you can see with relative ease and don't have to grab a spot 30+ minutes before hand than it may change your answer.

Thanks a lot ! Still undecided only bc there are supposly seating reserved spots ( that's what it says at the reservation) which would be handy with 2 small kids and I'm affraid the park will be croudy on the 7th of December so we might not get a good spot for the parade otherwise . I will try the frontierland tip for the x-mass party parade

I would not do it I would find a spot on Main Street about an hour ( may be an hour and 15 minutes ) and if there is another adult with you lest the adult and kids go in a near by shop or if it is cool enough go buy some ice cream then just make sure you are all there 20 to 15 minutes before it get there ( so 2:55- 300) and watch the parade use the fow minutes before the parade gets there to talk about things that you see or what you are going to do next or what you have done the little one might want to rest some any ways

this is just my idea

if it is too cold for ice cream there is a candy shop on Main Street

Oh ok thank you so it is possible for just one adult to sit the whole hour on the street and " reserve " the spot for the kids and the other adult? I was affraid that my kids won't be able to sit for an hour in one spot:) so 1 hour before is enough to be in the first row sitting on the side of the street? What about the x-mass party parade at 8:30 pm? The same ? 1 hour before? I was hoping at least for the x-mass parade would be easier to get first row spots since it is a ticketed event?

if you have a back pack or stroller then this make it much more easer to save a spot I go with a friend a lot and we find it very easy to save one spot up until about 15- 20 minutes when every one and there mother tries to get there. I would try to have them close by 30 or so minute before but like I said ice cream or candy really dose help kids sit still then if they eat that too fast a few do you see ( the the person wearing or the CM over there) I am sure you can find ways to enter Tain your kids for a few minutes and if you have a stroller to save there spot and they are just right there you should be fine.

This is my opinion you may want to wait for others but I would cancel it
