I joined last month on the Fantasy and part of the joining deal was VIP FPs. We are suppose to pick them up on our next trip. I am trying to figure out how they work. Is it one pass per person per day or does one work for the whole family? I am a family of 4. So do I use 4 per day? Can you still only get one FP at a time? Can you use your park ticket plus these FPs. I am confused:rotfl: Any help would DEFINATELY be appreciated:hippie:

Super easy.....go to the DVC center at SSR and pick up. THey are plastic cards (3 FP's per card). Go up to any FP machine, that has FP's left (there must be FP available), insert card and a FP comes out for immediate use. INsert again for a second pass etc.

As far as how many, it depends how many that they negotiated for you. The FP card is seperate from any FP that you would get by using your park ticket.

We received 18 VIP Fastpasses when we bought on the Dream in July 2011.

When we went to WDW in March, we went to the SSR sales centre to pick them up. We were able to split them since we are going back in August...so we used 9 on this trip and will pick up the remaining 9 when we go again. :thumbsup2

As PP mentioned, there are 3 on a card, insert it three times and 3 immediate FPs come out.

I am sorry...I still don't get it. So, 1 card gives you 3 FPs...does that mean one card is only worth 3 rides or does 3 FPs mean a FP one can use all day for immediate rides?

So, there are 4 of us. Is this right...we could ride 3 rides each and that would use up 4 cards?

Thanks for all of the help!!

It's not all day thing. Here's how it worked for us.

We are a family of 3. Went to the AK Safari ride...put in card 3 times, 3 immediate FPs came out...the 3 of us went on right away. That card is now null and void.

Essentially it's good for 3 individual rides.

Yes, that is how it works. Each card will give you 3 FP's. The difference between the FP's you get with these cards and your regular park ticket is simply that the return time is the current time which means you get to enter the FP time immediately.

So, depending on how many cards you were given as part of your promotion, you will have that many extra FP's to use for your trips. You will still be able to get FP's with your regular tickets.

Each fastpass allows each person to walk on to 3 rides that are still giving out regular fastpasses or 3 people 1 ride each. When you pick them up check when they expire, it used to be 4 days.

I highlighted a big issue above. If all FPs have been distributed for a ride for that day, the VIP FP WILL NOT get you a FP. Another small detail. The cards are only valid for 4 days from their issue date. If you are there for longer than 4 days, either use your cards up in the first 4 days or ask them to only give you some on day one and go back later to pick up the rest.

Each card is valid for 3 FPs that will have an entry timestamp from when it was scanned. There is no holding period between usage like there is on a regular FP. Meaning you can FP Space Mountain, ride it, then run over and FP Splash Mountain and ride it without having to wait to use the card again.

You all are awesome! Thanks I get it now:thumbsup2. Oh, and thanks for being patient and the tips are extra appreciated!
