Hey those in the know - how essential/beneficial might the addition of VIP Fastpass be for our late June trip?
The cost for that upgrade to suite level is a biggie, and we just can't decide if crowd levels at that time will be heavy enough to truly need the VIP.

:guilty: SO many decisions to make!

Remember the VIP FP only gives FP access to those rides with FP- it is not a front of line access for all rides - so you need to look at which rides have FP to see how many you would want to do also bearing in mind some of them are open during EMH which gives access anyhow

The VIP Fastpass is good to have, unless it is very quiet and all the rides are walk on anyway. We had them when we stayed in the CC in DLH, but I would not have paid extra for my room just to have the pass because there are only 10 rides that have Fastpass entry.

In Disneyland Park
  • Indiana Jones
  • Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast
  • Star Tours
  • Space Mission
  • Big Thunder Mountain
  • Peter Pan
In The Disney Studios
  • Ratatouille
  • Flying Carpets
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
  • Tower of Terror
Book the room that you can afford/are prepared to pay for and if it is the suite enjoy the VIP fastpass.

I don't think you'll need it in June. Most european holiday start in July. It might be worth a google search though!

Do they have "old school" fast passes like usa?? or do they only have VIP fast passes?? i'm trying to plan for half marathon time and wondering how busy it will be there..I have done florida at christmas so i don't think anything can be as busy as that:) TIA

They do offer legacy (old school paper) Fastpass for the rides stocst listed above.
I'm definitely still a PDL learner, but from what I've read online, those Fastpasses go very quickly.

I went in June last year and although it was busier than November it was nowhere near as busy as August.
Queues were generally 15min for most rides so unless the anniversary makes the park a lot busier in June, you shouldn't need a VIP FP.
Saying that i've done August a few times without VIP FP and managed fine!
