VIP Cleaning

A friend of mine just told me about the VIP cleaning or allergy cleaning that you can request for your room. We leave in 11 days. Is it too late for me to request this? Can i call the hotel still and request it?

Our flight arrives at MCO at noon. What are the chances our room would then be ready by the time we arrive at the resort?

Also, is it best to call or to fax a request? What number do I call?

What are the allergies? Some WDW hotels are handling the special cleaning after the guest checks in and depending on the need. For a medical allergy need, you would need to call special requests.

You can't call the hotel directly, you get a call center. From what I understand hotels are not accepting faxes for room requests any longer.

As far as will the room be ready-it is a toss up depending on the need, hotel and how busy they are.

You still have plenty of time to request it. There have been time when we have gotten to check in and our room was not ready yet, but they will hold your luggage and you can go to the parks or hang around the resort.
Depending on your allergies, they can do many things to help. If you have issues with dust then be sure to ask for a new air filter as well.

Yes, I saw on your other thread where you were able to reach the call center and have them note the request. Good Luck and have a nice trip.
