VIP cleaning for allergies in rooms?
Another thread had mentioned this and I wanted to know:

Is this possible to have this?

Does it cost more?

How do I request this?

Anyone have any details as to exactly what they do??

We just had this last week. You simply call the resort reservation line, explain that you have allergies and ask for what is called a "VIP Cleaning". They made sure the room was extra clean, double rinsed the sheets, and put in a new air filter in the air conditioner. If you have dust mite allergies, you might want to bring your own allergy proof covers for pillow cases. We didn't and had no issues. They looked like new pillows. There is no extra cost.

Do they clean the top blanket/comforter with this? That always freaks me out that it might not have been cleaned between people. I may ask for this, both myself and my DH have bad allergies.

Not sure about Disney, but the duvet/comforter is the least often cleaned (and most often the filthiest) thing in a hotel room. It's the first thing I take off and ball up and put on a floor in the corner whenever I travel and check in. Given Disney's environmental kick lately, I wonder if it's really washed between stays.

I pulled that back and just used the sheet as a cover. It was warm when we were there last week.

DS has horrible allergies - dust, mold. If exposed he requires nebulizer treatments and prescription medication. I called (thanks to DIS) and explained DS's condition. CM said we could have a special cleaning of the room. CM assured me that they would specially clean the room. She asked if we needed the linens cleaned without any scents. She said they would clean the carpets and change the filters. The entire call was done in just a few minutes. CM was very helpful and kind.
