Trip Days: Nov 14-Nov 19 (Only 3.5 weeks away!!!)
I grew up loving Disney, though we went to DL more often than WDW due to the proximity (I grew up in Oregon, so it was possible to get to DL if we drove for 13 hours, which my dad often did-mean man that he was, he threatened us that we'd have to pee in a bucket while still driving if we asked to stop too often!). The last time that I went to WDW was in 2004 with just my mom, so we could have a mother/daughter bonding trip. To date, that has been my absolute best Disney trip yet! No photos, though, I was pre-digital then.
Here's our cast of characters for this vacation:
ME! Jennia (pronounced Jen-ya), wife and mom, 25:
VIOLET, our daughter, she's almost 15 months now and she'll be 15.5 months when we go to WDW:
and Venny, husband and father, 24:
Violet and Venny have NEVER been to Disney at all. I often tell my husband he was deprived as a child (he also never carved a pumpkin or played with Little People, the horror!). He seems to think that Disney is "just another theme park" and that he'll be miserable because he's not a huge fan of rides (especially roller coasters). I have a feeling he's going to be pleasantly surprised.
About our package:
We're going with the Visa offer that was out recently that came with the free basic dining plan. We'll be staying at All Star Music (I've never been there), have Park Hopper tickets, and will be going to MVMCP on the 16th.
