Really wanting to buy star wars and marvel vinylmations :-D Where in DL or Downtown Disney are those particular ones available? Someone said D Street?

I may be incorrect, however last I heard trading Vinylmations had been stopped beyond possibly at the Disneystore - I'm not sure what projected sales will be like if they discontinued trading.

candiceL1985, I answered on your original post up on the WDW board. My best guess is to check D-Street in DTD. That location has the most vinylmations (along the back wall). I don't recall seeing any Star Wars ones in mid-July, but I wasn't looking. The most recent Marvel set came out more recently, so you might get lucky and find those. I think the second most likely location is going to Star Traders in Tomorrowland (DL) because that's where they sell a lot of Star Wars merchandise.

The resorts (DLR and WDW) discontinued Vinylmation trading back in February. The Disney Stores still do Vinylmation trading. I do think it impacts sales of the generic, non-Disney Vinylmation, but the limited edition/special event ones still seem to be selling out. I've read on Vinylmation-focused websites that the new person in charge of merchandising isn't as keen on Vinylmations as the last person, which would explain the ending of trading and the reduction in number of Vinlymation sets being released. I wouldn't be surprised if Vinylmation production kind of tapered out and then disappeared within the next 5 years.

If you're looking to BUY, then all the big stores have the Avengers Vinylmation. We got 3 Captain Americas, Black Widow and Thor. D Street also has them. But we purchased also at Star Traders, the Marvel store and Elias & Co, I believe.

D Street is the place for Vinylmation at Downtown Disney, the World of Disney had some as well but not as many as D Street

I really dislike Vinylmations and felt they negatively impacted Pin Trading, so I'm kinda glad to hear that.
