I still have mine... original outfit and all. Mine was the one that if you gave her water and turned her head to the side a bit, her face would frown, and she would cry. If you didn't turn her head after you gave her water, she would just pee.

1973 - Baby Alive
1974 - Baby That Away

:teeth: Okay, the talk about the inchworm has got me a little uneasy, because I had a bad experience with one when I was 3-4 years old. I fell head first over the front of one at my grandparents' house and had a big ol' red spot in the middle of my forhead- LOL

Was anyone else lucky enough to have this?

My mom still has this little TV thing (not sure what it is called) it was my brother & sisters but you put a record on the top part and then you had these little slide things that you inserted. Stopped working before I remember ever seeing it.......anyone know what I'm talking about? It looks like a small little TV with a record player on top.

We had something very similar (pre-Atari) that had a bowling game with a square ball and square pins. :rotfl:

What about Johnny West, and Jane his wife and Josie their daughter, and all of their horses? (Josie's was a pony). I had them and "loaned" them to my friend's horse-crazy little sister, never to be seen again!

I know I had this doll. I thought when you gave her a bottle, her bottom would get a red rash?? Maybe I am confussing her with another baby doll. I think I had them all.

I had another doll that had a voice thing on the inside. I think it would cry and say words, etc. I had gotten it for Christmas. A week later I went by a friend's house to play and brought the doll. The friend took out the voice thing (it came out of a zipper area so you could change the batteries) to use it as a garage door opener. When I left her house, the voice box got left behind. This friend said that she did not have it, and I never got it back. I remember this voice box doll was very expensive (being new technology at the time). Boy had not thought about that memory in many, many years.

Think it's called a Show & Tell Phono Player or something to that effect.

Anybody remember Mr. Machine? It was a robot like thing that you wound up in back and he was clear so you could see all the gears inside him moving. He would roll around playing music.

Weebles! They weeble and they wobble but they don't fall down.

This thread has had me going crazy trying to find a toy that I KNEW I had, and I KNEW wasn't a figment of my imagination... anybody remember Mr. Potatohead's friend Kooky???

Remember those little books, I don't think they were Golden Books. They came with a 45 record that read the story aloud to you. "When you hear Tinkerbell's wand, turn the page."

I had that the christmas I was seven years old, and ten years later, I went over to my friend's house who I used to babysit for, and her seven year old daughter had gotten the very same barbie house.
I also got the emerald city play set with Glenda, Dorothy, and the wicked witch of the west that christmas!!!

OP, I had that same inch worm toy... I hated him, or so the video shows. Got him for my 1st or 2nd b-day and it's a video of my dad trying to get me to get on it and I'm screaming and crying, they brought it back to the store and I think I got a baby doll instead.

I use to love Cabbage Patch Kids, I had a ton, all the clothes, play pen, stroller, etc. Infact my mom got me one for my 21st b-day a few years ago since it was something we always played together.
