Vintage Minnie Mouse evening gown

Hi, everyone! While I was shopping at the Habitat Restore today, I came across a vintage formal/prom gown by Mike Benet Formals with a gorgeous Minnie Mouse applique and a black and red polka dotted skirt. Has anyone ever seen or heard of something like this? I tried to search on Google and on Ebay, but I've never seen anything like it. If anyone has any information about dresses like these, I'd love to hear about it. Of course, I had to buy it

Saw a reference to it, in a 1986 newspaper article. Says it sold for $600 originally. I was curious.

Wow! Thanks so much for the link. I looked all over and couldn't find anything about it online. I even tried calling Mike Benet Formals in Dallas but didn't get an answer. I am surprised that the dress is from the 80s, because it really looks like something from the 50s or 60s to me.
