wow, i havent posted anything one here in a while. well, i was surfing the channel guide one day and i saw that gargoyles comes one when NO ONE IS EVEN AWAKE. But its a start. i have often thought about writing a letter to the disney channel and asking them to put old shows back on for at least a limited time. even though it is much better than the crap they show now....

I'm pretty sure Gargoyles has been on Disney XD for a couple of years now. I remember waking up for some reason when in WDW last year, and I normally leave the TV on when I sleep so I can't hear my parents snoring in the other room. Anyway, I woke up and Gargoyles was on. Don't think I watched it though. Just tried to get back to sleep...

I'm really pissed that Disney suddenly took Lizzie McGuire off the schedule this month (in the UK btw), and replaced it with this awful Famous Five cartoon they made. I sent an email expressing my displeasure, and they sent one back saying it's not going to be on for the time being -_- We still have That's So Raven, Recess, and Kim Possible on though, so I guess that's good. There's also quite a few cartoons on Disney Cinemagic, but we don't get that channel as we have to pay more... I keep trying to get my parents to get it, saying I would pay for it, but they never do... Anyway, it shows Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Timon & Pumbaa, Lilo & Stitch, Dave the Barbarian, Lloyd in Space, 101 Dalmatians, Emperor's New School, Kim Possible, Recess, and Stitch (anime version of Lilo & Stitch). You guys probably still have some of those, but I'm not sure what ones...

You know what? I think Disney should copy what Teen Nick is currently doing. I believe the channel has a programming block called "The 90s Are All That" late at night, where 90s shows are played for 2 hours.

and thats the least that we could ask for. Im pretty sure if the younger kids these days saw what we grew up on, they would like it so much better.

There is also an aspect of vintage disney world that i miss. At night, my sister and i would turn to the story channel and watch different disney movies like it was a story book. They would also have a spanish version on another channel. I mostly remember the little mermaid and monsters inc. Again, this thread has not been posted on in a while. Dont be afaid to come here to vent, share, and remember the great memories of vintage disney!

I just realised that Disney Channel in Sweden is slow. We still show Chip'n'Dale Rescue Rangers, Quack Pack, old Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck/Goofy classics, a year ago there was alot of Goof Troop and Lilo and Sticht can be on sometimes.
They show extremly little movies on Disney Channel. Seriously, I have had DC for 4 years and the only movies I have seen is Tinkerbell, Dumbo and The Sword in the Stone.
Though I love Phineas and Ferb, seriously Candance is so amusing!

That would be a great idea, I miss the good shows.
Even Stevens, Phil of the Future, Jet Jackson, That's So Raven. All great shows.

Also all the great old movies.

lucky duck!

there is also another point of vintage disney. From epcot center, the old info channels that many including myself built their first disney memories off of, and rides that have poofed into oblivion. :sad2:

What I make out from that advert, is that I really want to meet the walrus... Sure it was a bit of a sinister advert, with those creepy "heads make up most of the body" costumes, but it made me laugh...

I'm gonna be having nightmares about that damn wolf jumping out of my closet. XD

I miss the old Disney Channel. It's all junk now. The least they could do would be showing Disney movies and old shows late at night.

yeah...agree with you...we need it back...I also loved those shows :thumbsup2
