Vineyard Room or Trattoria for dinner & ELP?

How well can you see the parade from here, and should you be at one of the outer tables for best viewing?
I'm heading up there this weekend (YAY!) and originally my and my firend were just going to get two-day passes, but with the everyone pays the child fee promotion, we bought the extra day for just $7 each. Since now we want to see the parade and eat here (one of our favorites), if w emake a reservation, can we request patio seating... And do they have an added fee like sitting at the Disney Gallery for Phantasmic?
