*that the CMs are non-committal as to exactly 'where' the viewing area will be located.
(I am not particularly interested in viewing parade from rose garden area)
*those who have paid $100 pp will be darn sure to line up
very early to secure primo spots in the designated area.
(if it's necessary to stand on line an hour before the 7:30 pm checkin time to snag a perimeter piece of turf in the reserved area, it almost stands to reason why not just spend the same amount of time sitting on the curb to stake out a spot as included in price of admission
unless Disney is going to rope off the entire hub area.)
*dessert offerings will be similar to those offered in current FW viewing party. (
if I have to 'sell' the idea to my DH, need all the ammo I can muster after he figures out what it costs lol).
Initially, I dismissed this as a ridiculous money grab. After sleeping on it don't see much of a difference between it and booking tours or any other way you can drop a quick $100 or so @ WDW. Yes, it's a lot of $$$, but honestly, most things are at WDW. It's a question of picking & choosing from what is available within one's trip budget. This was going to be our 1st trip solely on CS and offsite dining mostly because I couldn't snag the ADRs we wanted but it makes the cost more palatable to me.
We have never braved the M&G in front of castle, just too much aggressive behavior and it ruins our vibe. We have certainly done our time over the years waiting for other characters. Always line up early to pick out good spots to watch the parades, only to have people repeatedly try to cut in front of us. Little kids always get a 'pass' from us, not their parents.
If this would guarantee my DH a primo spot to get his camera geek on for both the parade & FW, the value would increase dramatically for me.
guess it doesn't hurt to try & call, knowing cancellation is always an option if the early reports aren't favorable.
