Villas

Having booked again for 2005 we are now looking into staying in a villa.Can anyone reccomend which areas of orlando we should be looking at-we dont want to be too far from the attractions.
We would also be interested in villas which have amenities nearby such as restaurants and shops,i know you have to drive everywhere in orlando but if there was a villa complex that had a shop and restaurant within walking distance that would be great.Any websites you can recommend would also be appreciated.

Hello, I would recommend you stay just off the 192 in Kissimmee.
The location is ideal for good easy access to both the Universal Theme Parks and Disney also.
The I4 is close by with all the attractions within easy reach.

There are also Restaurants, Supermarkets, Gas Stations etc along the main road in Kissimmee, the 192 - for us it is the ideal location.

There are a few developments I would recommend, Cumbrian Lakes and Indian Point - both just off Poinciana Boulevard, CL being the newest, IP there are newer homes on the development but a lot of them are older.
The reason I mention the age is that we tend to always try and stay in a reasonably new home, after a bad experience in the first Villa we ever rented.
Also ideal and nearer to the parks are Indian Creek, Rolling Hills and Formosa Gardens, they are a few miles further up the road from CL/IP.
We have just booked a second trip next August at CL, our March holiday we are staying at IC, excuse the abbreviations!

As for shops/restaurants within walking distance, the 2 developments near Poinciana - there is nothing, you would need to drive everywhere, I believe there is a complex near FG, but have not stayed there so cannot be sure how close it is.
