Villas Of Somerset - Anyone Stayed Recently - Heard They've Had A Refurb?

Hi, just wondered if anyone has stayed at this development recently. We are due to stay there Oct 06 and I know they are a good few years old now and wondered what state they are in. I did read somewhere that they had had a reburbishment and wondered if anyone could confirm this for me.

I don't know if they have been re-furbed but when I stayed in them 3 years ago they needed it !!! Are you tied into staying there?

Drove past the last trip down about a month ago. Not refurbed - but they need it.

We stayed at a place at Venetian Bay - unit was about a year old. disneyuniversalcondo.com was the owner we stayed with. Nicer and was about the same price as Somerset.

Just found out - not locked in - so looking at alternatives. I have a bad feeling about this place. Can cancel this providing we take car hire instead. We can still save quite a bit on accommodation so not bothered about the excessive price on car hire. Windsor Hills is coming out tops just now and a saving of about £200 on a 3 b/r condo compared to a 2 b/r at somerset!!!!
