Hi! I just joined here as my family and I are just a little over a month away from our WDW vacation! We found a really nice and really big villa in Hamilton's Reserve, and we got and awesome deal. Anyways, I was wondering if any of you have stayed at a villa here or are familiar with that area at all? Is it a nice neighborhood? Close to WDW?

Thanks so much!

I know an owner (Chuck Eglinton) who owns 3 homes there actually..he's a great owner and a very valuable source of information to other homeowners like myself, he's considered kind of a "guru" in the STR / VRBO housing "circles" on many of the other forums I'm on dedicated to this sort of thing.

His site: www.mickeytown.com

Haven't stayed there but his homes get great reviews, and he's one of the best owners I think you could find to stay with. He's actually launching a website that will allow owners like myself to automate quotes and bookings to guests for their rental properties, very cool idea.

I can't find much about Hamilton's Reserve. What I have been led to believe is that it is about .5 mile to the 192, close to Medieval Times. There is a 24hour Wal-mart Superstore there which is handy for groceries.

I don't remember much in the way of restaurants close to there, but then again - I haven't really looked. However on the 192 there are loads of restaurants, just some will be closer to you than others...

It looks as though the area has pretty good access to the 192. The best route to Disney looks to be via Vineland Road and the West Osceola Parkway (Toll). You could travel the 192 to avoid the tolls, but the toll road will be faster and I think worth every cent to cut down your travel times.

I am not an expert on the community, the owner that you rent from should be able to assist with their local area knowledge.

Enjoy.

I did a search and found this topic so hope it's OK to bring it back up. Does anyone have any more information on Hamilton's Reserve? And....is it a gated community? Thanks in advance if anyone has any updates!
