Does anyone know how long is the walk from the following locations?
-VGF to the main building?
-VGF to the bus stop and monorail?
-Anyone have photos of the check in area/bell services?

Thinking of adding to VGF. Thanks

It's 4-5 minutes to the main building, depending on where you are going (it's a big building). The monorail is on the second floor of the main building - so add a couple minutes to walk up the stairs and get through security.
Bus stop is closer to the convention center, so add a couple more minutes there. It's all covered as well, so you won't get rained on.

No photos, but I'm sure there are a bunch you can find.

Thank you. I'm so used to Copper Creek and Riviera since they are a more compact resorts.

VGF original building checkin is obvious. As you pull up under the porte cochere, you'll see a desk for bell services. The CM there will either unload your luggage and store it or provide a luggage cart upon request if you prefer to transport your own luggage and already have access to your villa.

Then, go inside and turn sharply left. The three desks with cushy chairs are the VGF check-in area.

You can also check in at the main GF building. Enter and turn right for the front desk.

Thank you. We've never stay at VGF, but thinking of possibly adding points. I'd hate the thought of having to walk to the main building. This is convenient having it in the same building as the villas.

Mind you, we don't as yet know if check-in for the resort studios will be done at the original VGF building.

It seems to me that checking in for the resort studios at the GF front desk makes more sense, because bell services is right there if you need to store luggage or wish their help. Also, the resort studios building, formerly a GF outer building, is closer to the GF main building than it is to the original villas.

don't forget to bring a microwave if you are staying in a new GF resort studio. ha ha
