Villains Unleashed - Disappointed

We love the Villains of Disney so we attended the Villains Unleashed hard ticket party in August and was disappointed. Disney could have done a much better job. We were not impressed but made the best of the situation.

Overall entrainment was good, there were a lot of Villains present but good luck trying to meet one of them without a 2-3 hour wait.

I agree. We love MNSSHP and have been to that 7 times. We went to villians and it was hard to even get photos of the characters without a mob of people around them.

Completely agree with your comment. We will not do this party again. We are going to try to do the Halloween party next year.

DD (13) asked DD (17) who went to Villains with her Dad to get some photos and autographs--DD called us and said no way--lines were over 2 hrs! DD and DH also said disappointed--they rode some rides and left by 10pm.

We skipped all the Meet and Greets. Did some rides but I wanted to stay for the fireworks.

Totally agree! Not sure if we will do another hard ticket event other than the Halloween and Xmas parties.

Strange how disney cannot get that right.

Late seeing this, but I totally agree. We were there in August as well. The lines were so long, we didn't actually wait in any of them except one. Each was easily 90 minutes. We did get to meet a few of the characters that were walking around the park. Darth Maul was the only line character we waited to meet as we thought he played up the crowd very well.

Party merchandise was only available in one place and had a 2 hour line. I still can't believe all the people taking 2 hours of a hard ticket event to wait to spend even more $$. Pretty disappointing. No reason they could not have had some of the items sold in the stores or in multiple locations.

And they moved the MK EMH from the normal Sunday to this night. That meant we missed the EMH we were planning on as well to attend. If we had know before buying tickets, we probably would have elected the EMH and saved a lot of $$.

Overall, we had an OK time and it was cool to see all the villains out and about. We would not do it again unless there were some changes announced. Way too many people, lines too long and they need to add some other activities to spread out the crowds. OT - Wandering Oaken's was really fun to visit.

Could not agree with you more. I stayed till the end because I wanted to see the fireworks. If it was not for that, I would have let early too.
