villains park rumor???

I never gave a lot of credence to the rumor about mgm becoming a villains park in the near future. Today, in the park, passing a briefly open door on the backlot, I saw a couple vehicles parked back there with VILLAINS emblazoned in large letters on them.............

Aren't those the vehicles used in one of the WDW parades to haul around the Disney villans, or did so at one time?

I heard that rumor too! I've heard it for a while though, so I don't know. Actually, I heard they were going to make it a brand new park, not replacing MGM. I hope they wouldn't replace MGM, I like it the way it is. But a new Villian based theme park would be a pretty neat touch. Don't know how much the little ones would like it though. Maybe they can do a "land" in one of the existing parks-Villian Land or something.

The car labeled villains is just a backstage pargo. It is usually parked out in the backlot area by the soundstages. They just name the cars usually by who rides in them and its just a neat way of doing things. I have never heard of their changing DIsney-MGM studios to a villains park, what site did you read this on?
