Hi has anybody stayed here recently we are going on 14th may. We last stayed here in easter 2001 so we know it is just a basic hotel - we stayed there before they refurbished the rooms.

We stayed at the villager premier in nov 2001.Its not much different from before. They have added fridges and microwaves to the rooms and the general tidiness of the hotel is much better. They also have help yourself muffins, coffee and tea in the foyet of a morning.Make sure to get there as they put the muffins out as they go pretty fast.

The guy on the poolside bar was still there from when we stayed in '99 too. Also Brian who was one of the taxi drivers-really helpful guy.

The shuttles to the theme parks were at set times too.In '99 we had to pre-book them the night before, but in nov '01 you just turned up at set departure times each day.

Have a great time there.

We stayed there last December, and found the hotel to be fine. Whilst the hotel was generally basic (which we expected), the rooms were clean, and the microwave and fridge were very useful. The breakfast involves helping yourself to mffins, bagels and bread which you toast yourself, as well as coffee, tea and fruit juices. This was served in the hotel lobby, and it could get quite busy, with not a lot of tables to sit at, but when we were there it was quite chilly so tables and chairs outside remained empty. When you go it should be a lot warmer, so it shouldn't be as crowded. Overall, a good location and we would stay there again.

Have a good trip!!

Nigel.
