Has anyone ever been or know anything from anyone who has. We are thinking of going over Easter for a quick weekend and I'm looking for some reviews.

Thanks!

Various members of my family have had timeshare at Villa Roma since the '70s. I used to go all the time with my cousins when I was a kid :goodvibes

The whole place underwent a huge renovation over the past few years due to a major fire they had in the off-season. In addition to all new dining areas, pool areas, etc. - they have upgraded all of the guest rooms (flat-panel TVs, updated kitchens, etc.)

My sister and brother-in-law spend two weeks there each summer - their kids range in age from 8 - 13 and they all love it. They seem to have something for every age group (kids and adults).

If you have any specific questions - feel free to PM me and I'll get the answers from my sister. :)

DD and her DH's friends have a time share there.. They usually go down with them in April - just to hang out - because most of the activities aren't open.. Even some of the shops are closed at that time of year.. They've gone in May too - and it's not much better.. It's an "okay" place, but nothing they would ever be interested in investing in..

You might want to call ahead with your dates to find out just what things are going to be opened and what will still be closed..

Good luch! :goodvibes

We spent a week there in October a couple of years back. We were in a 2 bed timeshare. Much of the resort has been re-modelled, I believe they started with the hotel rooms.

Anyway, it is in a beautifull area, the fall colours were wonderful and prob the spring will be lovely too. There are some nice places to see in the countryside. Markets and interesting stores and craft places etc. The unit was spacious but the furniture and decor were very dated and the couch was so uncomfortable. The stench in the stairway and hallway leading to our unit was absolutely incredible. I dreaded it every time I had to enter or leave the unit.

We wanted a cheap week to relax and it served it's purpose. I can deal with the tachy decor, and I held my nose in the hallway. Otherwise it was great. Very very quiet in the off season, they say it is bursting at the seams in the summer time.

my friend and her sister have a timeshare there. They love it!! She says they have a lot of activities for the kids there that you pay extra for.

I haven't been there in ages. I went as a child a few different times. I have some family members that have been there more recently and had a great time.

We were thinking of going Easter weekend.....two nights...just to relax and get away something quick.

We have stayed at Woodloch Pines in PA. before and love it....the Villa Roma is much less expensive (which has me wondering) and with our trip to WDW this year, we needed to conserve some cash ;), so we figured we would give it a try.
