I really am stuck on this one, there are so many choices.:thumbsup2
Im 70% swaying towards the villa rentals as there are 9 in the party and I am picking up the accomadation tab. Any suggestions on Communities???:confused3

We really loved Windsor Hills and the only reason we aren't going back is because friends have lent us a house in a different community.

We found Windsor Hills in a great location, easy commute to anywhere we wanted to go - Including seaworld, Disney, Discovery cove and shopping.

I too have stayed at WH and think it is well placed. There are other rental communities in that area and nearby Formosa Garden - such as Emerald Isle and Windsor Palms.

A lot of the villas are independently owned so each one will be different.

Do you have anything on your wish list?

I have done both on site and villa, really enjoyed it and will do again but at the moment with children at 8 & 3 it is villa every time. I just love the relaxed feeling of it. We have stopped at Windsor Hills, Emerald Island, Lingfields while staying at Hampton Lakes this year. Really looking forward to it...

Sorry for us it's a Disney Hotel every time. When are you planning on going? depending on the time of year you might get OKW and SS 40% off and Free Dining.

There is no way we could share a villa with 9 people:rotfl2: We love going away with friends and family but own hotel rooms for us. It would be a choice between hotel onsite or offsite though as we don't like villas.

I think for a party that size i'd get a lovely villa.

We have only stayed in one villa so i'm no expert - hamlet at west haven at championshipgate. We liked the area and would stay again - off I4 jnc 55.

We go to villas on Watersong as there are 12 in our party, all family but all 6 bedrooms have en suites which make it just as good as hotel rooms, then you have your pool, games room etc.

Thumbs up for villa rental much more room for everyone especially with a party of nine , try looking on villas2000 , vrbo.com , ****************.co.uk all good sites that have great links to homeowners web site plus 350 tours and lots of photos to help you make your choice .

We're another family that dislike villas - but you won't know until you try it as some people love them.

The one and only time we had a villa we stayed at Windsor Palms - it was a very convenient location with shops and restaurants nearby. 8 minutes from our drive to the Animal Kingdom parking lot (we timed it!).

A beautiful villa but totally lacking in Disney Magic and as the mum I felt responsible for checking we had enough milk/bread/snacks in the villa - making sure everyone kept their rooms in a reasonable state and tidying up. (I do love daily maid service!)
