Villa Holiday

I'm not sure my two boys will survive two weeks without Ribena!! They don't like fizzy drinks, but will happily drink milk, water, apple or orange juice, or milkshakes when we are out, but it would be nice to have some Ribena at the villa! Is this available at Publix or should I take some with me?

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

I am pretty sure it isn't, cannot remember seeing it - they definitely have the Robinson's Apple & Blackcurrant though.
They basically have an 'ethnic' aisle that sells Heinz Beans, Cadbury chocolate etc

We go in just over 3 weeks, do you want me to see if they have it in Publix for you, or alternatively Old Town - as we visit both anyway (I do the shopping for our villa supplies). ;)

There is a shop at OT called Union Jack British Goods that may have it.

If they like Ribena, give "Grape Juice" a try whilst you are over there too... :)

We take teabags and Washing tablets (but only due to DDs allergies) otherwise I would buy their washing powder as I am sure it is geared up for their 'toploaders'

We manage without diluted pop but if you need this I would take a bottle with you.

as for everything else we buy them out there, even bin bags as they are really not that expensive and I don't begrudge leaving any for the next people and the same goes for dishwashing tablets..

every year I try and remember to take some English mustard satchets for the parks as their mustard tastes like piccalilli YUK!! but I always manage to live without it after forgetting LOL

Staying in a villa on our next trip to Orlando. Are there things we should take with us that you either can't get out there or are really expensive.
Any ideas ? i think i read somewhere that its a good idea to take bin bags ?

Thanks

You may get some helpful info from your villa owner.
Most of us just leave a nights supply of t-rolls,bin liners, soap,
So basically, you will need to buy everything.
If you dont have contact with the owner - you could always go to ghome, drop your bags off.Have a little look about and there will be a big shop somewhere Im sure

Happy Hols,
Lynn

When spreading marmite:
1. Spread Marmite with knife.
2. Try to wipe marmite off with knife.

This will leave correct amount on toast/sandwich

Johnny, thanks for your offer, it would be really helpful to know if Ribena is available, but don't go out of your way....!

No problem Michelle, as we stay in a villa I visit Publix a few times anyway so if I am there I may as well check - and we visit Old Town also.

I will PM you when I return ;)
